The last PPV of the year, UFC 282: Jan Błachowicz vs Magomed Ankalaev, is upon us.
The infamous T-Mobile Arena, Nevada, is the chosen location. December 10th, we will witness a new light heavyweight champion be crowned. This is due to former champion Jiří Procházka dealing with a shoulder injury that will require surgery and at least six months of rehabilitation. As the old saying goes, “The show must go on”.
This card has real potential to be a great night. Paddy Pimblett, Robbie Lawler, Bryce Mitchell and Darren Till are all features on this epic card.
Edmen Shahbazyan vs Dalcha Lungiambula – Edmen Shahbazyan to Win 3/10
Edmen Shahbazyan, back in 2019, was a real prospect in the UFC that had high potential. Fast forward to today. He is currently on a three-fight losing streak. However, we are strongly backing Edmen in recapturing his old form. Taking a (much-needed) year off is a huge positive for the young middleweight fighter.
Darren Till vs Dricus du Plessis – Darren Till to Win 11/8
This is a huge fight for both fighters for completely different reasons. On one end of the spectrum, we have Darren Till. One win in his last 5, all against top opponents, no doubt. There is no way of sugar-coating it. This is a must-win for the Englishman. Dricus du Plessis has been calling for this fight for some time. He knows that defeating a top rank and a top name in the UFC like Till. It is what’s needed to give inform Du Plessis of that big push he needs. Tough fight and tough picks, but we are going on with the underdog, Till.
Paddy Pimblett vs Jared Gordon – Paddy Pimblett to Win 2/5
Very few fighters fail to shine under the big bright lights, and Paddy “The baddy” is not one of them. We believe that Paddy Pimblett will rise to the occasion of this being his first big UFC fight in the USA. Paddy is currently riding a well-earned three-fight win streak, with all of them coming via finishes. Jared Gordon is an opponent that will happily stand in the pocket. This will only improve Paddy’s odds for a finish.
Bryce Mitchell vs Ilia Topuria – Bryce Mitchell to Win 5/4
This is a highly anticipated match-up. What’s more exciting than a fight where “someone’s 0 has got to go”? A classical match-up of a wrestler vs striker. Both of these fighters are ridiculously good and will be in the top ten for years to come. However, the here and now, for the odds, we cant go against Bryce Mitchell.
