This weekend UFC 284 goes takes place down under in Perth, Australia. Two Title fights. P4P no.1 vs P4P no.2 fighting for the best fighter on the planet.
Alexander Volkanovski, the UFC featherweight champion, is stepping up to lightweight to fight the newly crowned UFC Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Volkanovski is once again looking to shut the haters up and challenge for greatness by becoming the 5th fighter to become a simultaneous 2-weight champion. After his dominant performance back in Abu Dhabi at UFC 280 against Charles Oliveria, Makhachev immediately called out Volkanovski for his first title defense.
In the co-main event, we’ll be seeing an interim featherweight title be crowned. Yair Rodriguez will be taking on Josh Emmett in a highly anticipated ‘swang and bang’ match up between two lethal strikers. Someone is bound to go down.
