UFC 286 hits the UK’s capital this Saturday as the O2 Arena host’s the welterweight title fight trilogy between Birmingham’s Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman.
Among the star-studded line-up and set to make his official debut with the promotion at UFC 286 is Sam Patterson. Patterson earned his place on the UFC roster with a second-round rear-naked-choke over Vinicius Cenci on Dana White’s Contender Series in September of last year.
Patterson enters his UFC 286 clash with Yanal Ashmoz, boasting a nine-fight winning streak and has a knack for finishing fights and finishing them early. Ahead of the biggest fight of his career thus far, we had the pleasure of talking with Sam Patterson leading into UFC 286, firing him a handful of quick-fire questions.

No judges, the first to give up loses.

Giving up the cake.

I love watching all fights to be honest but a few names off the top of my head. Cory Sandhagen, Leon Edwards, Sean O’Malley, Gervonta Davis.

Fight circuits run by my coach.
