UFC 288 takes place on Saturday in New Jersey. Henry Cejudo returns in a huge spot looking to win his title back. The card has great fights throughout and offers tons of spots for my sports gamblers. Here we will take a look at the spots that stick out and where the value lies with our UFC 288 best bets.
BET #1 – Belal Muhammad ML +105
The first spot that sticks out is in the Co-Main Event. With no title involved, Burns and Belal are still scheduled for five rounds. Gilbert Burns is a very dangerous fighter early on and will have the BJJ advantage in the fight. Where Belal can capitalize is with his cardio. Belal wins fights even when he is counted out. This could be another opportunity to cash a Belal underdog ticket if he can survive early and take over later.
BET #2 – Virna Jandiroba ML +120
Some crazy line movement in this one took Jandiroba from a big underdog to only +120ish now. This should be a close fight, but there is value here in the grappler. Marina Rodriguez has struggled in her run with grapplers, even in wins. Jandiroba will be outmatched on the feet, but in terms of wrestling, she will have a massive advantage on the mat. The sub could be available as well as a majority decision for Virna.
BET #3 – Jessica Andrade ML -190
Fresh off a tough loss, Andrade is in a prime bounce-back spot here. Many have said she may be heading for regression, but we don’t believe that quite yet. Yan Xiaonan is a beast on the feet but has struggled with grappling. Carla Esparza was able to take her down and dominate to a finish. Andrade should be able to compete on the feet and will be much stronger in the wrestling department. Andrade will control where the fight takes place and is looking to get back in the win column.
UFC 288 will be a great card to watch and, hopefully, one that wins the fans some money. Gamble responsibly and enjoy the card Saturday night.
