The UFC Vegas 70 main event was headlined by Brendan Allen and Andre Muniz.
Muniz was coming into the contest with a nine-fight win streak. His most recent victory came over Uriah Hall in July of last year by unanimous decision.
Allen, who is also in fine form and entered with three solid wins behind him. The 27-year-old last outing occurred in October of 2022, where he submitted Krzysztof Jotko.
After the original main event fell apart during the broadcast, Allen took full advantage of his opportunity of headlining. ‘All in’ had the upper hand in the striking battle with Muniz in the opening two rounds. In the third, Allen secured a takedown and quickly latched onto a rear-naked choke, making it four on the bounce.
