UFC Paris will go down this Saturday in the French capital for the first time. Fans are in for a great card that looks to be full of potential bangers. The event hasn’t gone quite as plain sailing as many would have hoped.
Now just several days away we hopefully have the finalised card. Despite numerous injuries and ailments attempts to scupper the card. September 3rd is still looking like one hell of an event.
The Changes
A fight between Katlyn Chookagian and Manon Fiorot had a tumultuous coming together. Originally scheduled for Paris, Katlyn withdrew, only to be brought back. Now the fight has been rescheduled for a later date.
Makhmud Muradov withdrew from his Middleweight bout. Abusupiyan Magomedov, his original opponent, will now take on Dustin Stoltzfus who is fresh off his first UFC win.
Ailin Perez was originally making her UFC debut against Zarah Fairn. However, Fairn withdrew due to injury and was replaced by the Swiss Stephanie Egger.
Both Khalid Taha and Benoit Saint-Denis have suffered opposing pull-outs for their upcoming bouts. Taha will now fight Cristian Quiñonez in a Bantamweight contest. Whereas Benoit will take on Brazil’s Gabriel Miranda at Lightweight.
Both these respective newcomers will be making their UFC Debuts in Paris.
Finally, two more fights have fallen completely through and neither fighter has remained on the card. Firstly Cedric Doumbe has been withdrawn from his bout with Darian Weeks and will no longer compete.
Secondly, both Danny Henry and Ricardo Ramos suffered injuries that put a halt on their sure-to-be Featherweight banger.
Despite all these card changes UFC Paris will still line up with a 12-fight card that’s sure to deliver. The card is as follows (subject to change)
