Tony Gravely may have lost his last fight, but that was to Javid Basharat. Gravely gave a good account of himself in that fight verse a killer. When this fight was booked I was shocked to see Gravely as the underdog. He has all the tools to win this fight. Gravely is an amazing athlete, he can out wrestle anyone and he has power in his hands. Those are all the attributes I look for in a fighter to bet on. Take the dog value in this one.

Vitor Petrino is a killer. He is an explosive athlete and is always looking for the finish. Petrino throws excellent combos and rips to the body. He came in as a slight favorite on DWCS and really showed why, by getting a second round finish. Petrino is so strong and explosive he is able to get out of a lot of bad spots on the ground and he usually winds up on top. He’s fighting Turkalj who is far too hit-able to be facing a guy with Petrino’s power. This is the best prop bet at UFC Vegas 71.

Krylov vs Spann is a rebooked fight from 2 weeks ago. It’s doesn’t change much now that this fight is taking place at UFC Vegas 71. Krylov and Spann are both finishers. One of these men will end up looking like they should have been massive favorites. The chances of this fight going to decision are slim to none.

Josh Fremd vs Sedriques Dumas is also a fight where we should see violence. Dumas is a special kind of athlete. He is able to overcome bad positions and come out on top. He has extreme power and excellent submissions. Fremd tends to leave his chin exposed. Even though I think Sedriques should win, he is inexperienced and if he ends up being fraudulent Fremd will capitalize. This fight should finish either way no matter who the winner is.
