Song Yadong will take on Chris Gutierrez this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. It looks to be an entertaining card with a load of good betting options to choose from.
The Promising Song Yadong
Yadong is an elite fighter who performs every time he sets foot in the octagon. The Chinese fighter is a formidable contender at 135. He will look to get a big win against Gutierrez to further his career in the UFC. Yadong has a professional record of 20-7-2 with 12 finishes. He is coming off a win against Ricky Simon this past April. Yadong was going to fight former bantamweight champion Petr Yan in Shanghai. Yet, he will take on Gutierrez in Las Vegas. The bantamweight rankings place the 26-year-old in seventh position. If he defeats Gutierrez, he might have a chance to face a top-five contender.
The Exciting Chris Gutierrez
Gutierrez is an excellent fighter in his own right. He is currently ranked 15th in the bantamweight division, but a win over Yadong would put him in the top 10. The American has a professional record of 20-5-2 with ten knockouts. The biggest win of his career came against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar. Gutierrez also excels at striking and can knock out the opposition. He wants to beat Yadong and prove he’s a top bantamweight contender.
The Bets
There are some exciting betting options when looking at the matchup. Gutierrez has never had a five-round fight in the UFC. It will be Yadong’s third fight. Yadong is the better fighter on paper and has the skills to finish Gutierrez.
