This weekend is UFC Vegas 87, where two of the heavyweight division’s biggest titans will wage war inside the UFC APEX. The match up between Shamil Gaziev and Jairzinho Rozenstruik is an interesting one when it comes to the heavyweight division, as two potential contenders could make a case for why they should be next in line.
Shamil Gaziev is putting his undefeated streak on the line against Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Gaziev not only is undefeated but has a hundred percent finish rate going into this main event. It is a big deal that the UFC sees potential in Shamil Gaziev to give him his first main event spot.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik is looking to bounce back from his most recent loss to Jailton Almeida. Rozenstruik can steal the momentum Gaziev has gained from his quick rise in the division. Will “Bigi Boy” pass the test that the UFC has presented to him with what seems to be an unstoppable opponent? Jairzinho Rozenstruik has the power to change Shamil Gaziev’s undefeated record on Saturday, and if he can we might see another push from Jairzinho Rozenstruik to get back into title contention.
