UKFC 19 is knocking the ball out of the park with their matchmaking, and this one’s no different.
Reid Rogers and Macaulay Donnelly square off at Featherweight with a combined record of 8-0. Truly an amateur pairing of the highest level, both Reid and Macaulay look to cement themselves as top tier Featherweights on the scene. They’ll have to go through each other to reach their destination.
Reid Rogers (3-0) vs Macaulay Donnelly (5-0)
Whenever a fight has two undefeated fighters, there are added stakes. When Reid and Macaulay are in there, this one’s no different. Both of these men have primarily cut their bones in the FCC promotion but now turn their attention to UKFC.
Reid Rogers enters 3-0 with all three of his victims succumbing to a rear-naked choke. In his last two fights, he’s defeated very game opponents in Sam Irving and David Whitehead. Donnelly is undoubtedly his largest step up in competition, but Reid is ready for the task at hand. He knows that if he delivers in this one, he’ll line himself up for some massive fights in the future.
Macaulay Donnelly is one of the most impressive Featherweights on the UK scene. He comes into UKFC 19 ready to wage war with a fellow undefeated fighter, but that does not phase him. Having lined opponents up in FCC, Budo, and Celtic Gladiator, Donnelly has also knocked them all down. For him, Rogers is just another opponent. Yet, if he pulls this one off, he may enter another stratosphere.
