UKFC 19 adds another electrifying amateur bantamweight clash between Paddy Symes and Jacob Buckley.
Preston will see an action-packed night of action on May 14th for UKFC 19, and fans can expect their money’s worth.
This bantamweight banger allows both fighters with the opportunity to leap back into the win column after falling short in their latest outings.
Paddy Symes vs. Jacob Buckley
Paddy Symes enters the contest with a (3-2) record. The Team Ryano representative began his amateur career in 2016, and the potential was clear from day one. Symes cruised his way to (3-0), picking up three back-to-back wins, with a stoppage win on his debut.
The Ireland native was dealt his first loss when dropping a unanimous decision over Ali Yaqoob at the 2018 IMMAF European championships. After the loss, Symes suffered a four-year hiatus before returning to competition at Clan Wars 43 when defeated by Ciaran Brady.
Standing across from the Irishman at UKFC 19 is Jacob Buckley (2-3), whose activity has been far superior to his opponent over the last several years.
Buckley began his MMA journey in 2018 with a memorable submission victory over an experienced Keiron Bennett. The 25-year-old undertook a two-year break after his debut win, which saw him return at UKFC 13 and suffer his first loss against Charlie Boulton.
The Englishman returned at the beginning of 2021 with his most active year to date. Buckley fought three times, going (1-2), but gaining valuable Octagon time and experience.
