A huge fight has been announced on the Cage Warriors 140 card between two surging bantamweights! Irish fighter Caolan Loughran will be taking on Ghanaian-born Festus Ahorlu in a bid to take each other’s undefeated record.

Fight fans will be spoiled come CW 140 when these two athletes come head to head, with both fighters currently riding a five-fight win streak to open their professional careers, both undefeated professionally.
Loughran evidentially doesn’t like going the distance, with 4 of his five wins thus far coming within the distance and one UD also. He is a problem on the feet and the ground, finishing with two KO/TKO’s and two submission victories by way of rear-naked chokes. All of “The Dons” finishes have come within the first two rounds, so I’m sure we can expect a fast start come fight night.
Ahorlu is currently on a 10-fight win streak going back to his amateur career, whereas Loughran is on 7; both fighters are yet to be finished, only losing by decisions in the earlier part of their respective amateur careers. Ahorlu has finished in his opening three pro fights, all via KO/TKO, and his last two victories come by way of unanimous decision, demonstrating very good control and a gas tank to go the distance if need be; though I’m sure both fighters will be looking to finish the fight emphatically!
Another factor to consider is that Ahorlu will be making his CW debut when he makes the walk, where Loughran won his CW debut in his last fight at CW 135. I wonder if this will impact Ahorlu at all?
Can Loughran make the most of performing in front of his home crowd? Is he going to be the next Irish superstar? We shall certainly find out!
