When the UFC and Dana White announced UFC 286 London would be a UK-based PPV, nearly every MMA fan was excited. When Dana went one further and said it would be a “bad-ass card” excitement only grew stronger.
As the days ticked by, the UFC’s plan to headline the bill with the trilogy bout between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman was clear. However, as news broke and stories circulated, speculation left the bout in doubt. Now confirmed the card is beginning to take shape.
Many fans questioned the card saying it doesn’t live up to the hype promised. Building as we are and with more fights coming together, fan anticipation is heading towards a fever pitch.
As UFC London was hit twice last year, delivering big both times. It’s only fair they bring some of the best to the UK. The best they seem to be bringing. Just two months out from the fight we now have a clearer picture of what the fight card might look like.
With a couple more high-profile additions, this card could potentially exceed expectations however that all depends on if, buts and maybes.
