Undefeated Welshman Jack “Tank” Shore has made his way into the official UFC rankings following his huge win over Timur Valiev at UFC London in March.
Many fans have been questioning why the 16-0 bantamweight had been overlooked for a spot in the rankings. At 27-years-old, Jack Shore has a bright future ahead, but it might just be the case that the future is now for “Tank”.
With big names such as Sean O’Malley, Frankie Edgar and Pedro Munhoz now in reach, Shore is now potentially looking at a huge next outing.
The Unbeaten Jack “Tank” Shore
Jack Shore is technically 28-0 if you combine both his amateur and pro results. He is very much reminiscent of the great welterweight Georges St-Pierre, very methodical and clever. Hard-pressed to make him unsettled, Shore has the demeanour of a champion when in the cage.
So far in his UFC run, he has fought opponents with an average record of 10-1, all highly touted prospects in their own right, especially Russian Timur Valiev. UFC Fight Night 204 in London was a real announcement for “Tank” as he battled to victory in front of a crowd who knew they had a contender by the time the second round started.
There is yet to be an announcement as to when Shore fights next, but the UK fans will be hoping to see him on the rumoured UFC UK card later this year.
Who do you think makes sense next for the surging Welsh Superstar?
