Floyd Mayweather entertained another exhibition bout between the ropes at Super Rizin in Japan. In the process Mayweather flattened Mikuru Asakura in round two.
In the opening round, both men were hesitant as they sought to feel one another out. It wasn’t all plain sailing for Mayweather in the second, as Asakura landed some clean shots. The pressure from Asakura forced the undefeated boxer to retreat, recuperate and come back with his own attacks.
In typical Mayweather fashion, he bounced back with a crisp right hand of his own which landed flush on the face of the Rizin MMA fighter right at the bell, which closed the curtain on the contest.

Post-fight, Mayweather thanked the Japanese crowd in attendance and hinted he would be back in front of them again.
“I’m just happy to be here, thanks again,” said the undefeated boxer. “I’m happy that we were able to give the fans excitement tonight. Thanks for having me. I’ll be back.”
Mayweather’s last time fighting in the Saitama Super Arena, he dominated Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasuawak, forcing him to the canvas three times in the opening round, resulting in the 24-year-old team throwing in the towel.
The exhibitions don’t seem to be slowing down for “money”, with his fifth bout on the horizon on November 13th in Dubai against Deji Olatunji.
