Simeon Powell will be travelling home a happy man from the first PFL regular season card of 2022. He scored a brutal knee knockout in the third round of his bout against Clinton Williams. Powell moves to 6-0, with five of those wins coming inside the distance. This follows the hard-hitting 23-year-olds PFL Challenger series decision win, the first of his young professional career.
Simeon Powell: The Next Big Thing?
Powell is not competing in the $1 million dollar tournament, but he certainly has curtains twitching as he gets closer and closer to his shot at a bigger target. Standing 6 foot 5 and equipped with an 80-inch reach which is bettered only by Jon Jones in the UFC light heavyweight division and Liam McGeary in Bellator’s, Powell is physically superior to most. He also has managed to rack up a couple of submission victories, including a first-round rear-naked choke at Almighty FC 21.
The future looks bright for this young giant making waves across the globe.
